Do you have multiple offices that you need to connect?
Here is a short list of CTC's qualifications that can be beneficial to your
organization:
TCP/IP
Routers
Frame Relay
T1
Dedicated Point to Point Circuits
Firewalls
VPN
Thin Client
Broadband (DSL and Cable)
Wireless (Satellite)
There are of course some things that have to be
done by the local Telco, but CTC has the contacts and experience to be the
liaison that you need to have on your side.
CTC will perform a complete
survey of your site including:
WAN bandwidth requirements
Quantity and types of servers at each location
Quantity and types of workstations at each location
Any special equipment (VPN or firewall device)
We will then provide you with a quote and a
thorough network diagram. No other technology company in SW Florida
provides you with more planning.

WAN Cost
With the
availability of DSL and other broadband technologies being so good, it
is more affordable than ever to connect your offices or even create a
connection from your house to the office so you can work from home.
Most people setup WAN connections between their offices to share
information or to keep data consistent between multiple locations.
Connection Speed
A lot of
people don't understand when they set up a WAN connection that the speed
is only a fraction of what they are used to on their LAN. For
example, one of the best WAN links you can get is a T1 line and it has a
potential bandwidth of 1.54 Mbps. Compare that to your LAN
bandwidth which is either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps. One way to improve
the "perceived" performance is to use a "Thin
Client Solution" such as Citrix.
