A lot of companies offer "Maintenance Plans", but what sets CTC apart from
the competition is what is included in our Maintenance Plan! We do
more than just clean your printer, and make sure your CD-ROM drive is
working. Our basic maintenance plan includes:
Tape Back Up:
Is it working properly?
Are you getting all of your information backed up? If you were to "go
down" tonight, would you have the most current data on your system readily
available to be restored? With our maintenance plan, we'll make sure
that you do!
Virus Updates:
Do you have antivirus
software protecting your important data? Do you have the latest
update? With our maintenance plan, we'll make sure that you do!
Server Maintenance:
Does your server run
slower than it used to? Are temp files bogging down your efficiency?
With our maintenance plan, we'll make sure you are running at optimum
efficiency.
PC Maintenance:
Does your PC need a good
scan and defrag sometimes? You just don't have the time during your
busy schedule to run those? They take forever, don't they? With
the maintenance plan, we can take care of it while you're at lunch, or in a
meeting.
Do you need more
than the items listed above? Or maybe it's just not feasible for your
computers or network to be "cleaned" during normal business hours. We
can customize the plan to meet your needs. Click the "Contact" button
at the top of the page to schedule a
consultation to discuss the options. The best disaster plan is to
have a plan.
Windows NT "ERD"
An "ERD"
is an Emergency Repair Disk. It is basically a backup to a
floppy disk of a Windows NT based server. This "ERD" is usually
created at the time your server is installed. Unfortunately it
has been our experience that it never gets updated again. This "ERD"
stores a lot of information that would be important if your server was
to crash. It is VERY important that it be updated regularly.
Backup Tapes
Believe it
or not, tapes do go bad. Because they are a magnetic media, they
are susceptible to damage from heat, dust, magnetism, and age. If
you have been using the same backup tapes for a few years, it might be
time to start replacing them. You can then move your old tapes off
site for further protection.
